We each have 10+ years of experience and have worked together in various child care settings since 2004. Our experiences include the following: babysitting, day camp directors, sports class instructors, daycare teachers, and home daycare employees. We both have our Bachelors from Northern Illinois University, one in Child Development and the other in General Studies. We are also both pursuing further education in the field of child development and education and are both DCFS teacher-qualified.
We provide:
- Developmentally appropriate activities which include crafts, music and movement, sensory play, large and fine motor play, group times, etc.
-A focus on literacy and language development through group and individual activities
-Daily outside time (weather permitting) in large backyard and/or nearby park
-Potty training assistance
-Fun and safe toys and equipment
-Low ratio
-Consistent schedule/routine
-Nutritious meals
-Occasional field trips to nearby community center, gazebo/pond, etc.
-Daily reports home
We are currently in the process of becoming DCFS licensed.
