Antoine Family Daycare is a licensed home based child care facility that provides care for children ages newborn to 12 years old located in Parkville, MD. At Antoine Family Daycare families are provided with a clean, safe, loving facility that promotes learning and growth. The children are provided with daily circle time, arts/crafts, music, story time, play time and more. I use a professionally developed curriculum to promote learning, creativity, and school readiness. Our curriculum also includes infant and toddlers to build cognitive, language, social/emotional, and physical development. Each child enrolled in Antoine Family daycare has the opportunity to continue the learning process through play as we have fun active learning centers for the children to complete individually or as a group.These activity centers promote discovery, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, math, dramatic play, languuage, and literacy. We occassionaly take field trips to places such as the library, local resturants, farms, and more to enable the children to have a fun time learning in the community.
Healthy nutritious meals are also provided as I am enrolled in a food program, which sets guidelines for portion size and foods that we are allowed to serve the children. Breakfast, Lunch, and P.M. Snacks are served.
Parents are given daily written reports on their child's day at pick-up. Daily Reports include morning activities, circle time activities, meals, napping, toileting/diapering, and comments.
EDUCATION: I have a degree in Social Work, CPR certified, first aide certified, SIDS trained, emergency prepardness trained, and I yearly enroll in continuing education class in areas such as cirriculum, child development, among others.
BIO: I am a proud mother of 4 children ranging in age from 11 years old to 8 months old. I take pride in caring for my children as well as the children enrolled in my child care. |
