Hi! Thank you for taking a look at my child care profile! Let me first tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Jesse. I have a 2 year old daughter. She is really great, well-behaved, and loves to be around other children. Before having her, I was a teacher for 11 years. I worked in a few different public school districts and taught pretty much every grade level from pre-K through 6th grade. I am certified in and have taught both general elementary school as well as special education. I believe that any child can learn, grow, and socialize in the right condition and see each child as an individual with his/her own strengths and weaknesses. This allows me to work well with any child. Teaching/working with children has always come naturally to me, so I decided to put that to use and start my in-home child care service. I have excellent references available upon request and a background check at Care.com.
My child care will provide your child(ren) with a warm, caring, comfortable, home-like place where they will feel safe to learn, grow, socialize, and have fun! There will never be more than five children in my care at a time. There will be structured activities such as learning games, story time, crafts, sports/exercise, dancing, singing, and mini lessons (especially for the little ones who will be with me all day). However, I also want your child to feel like they are at their second home and not school (especially those who are just with me for after school care). If they want homework help, to sit quietly and read, color, or play a game with a friend, they will be able to do that. I have tons of teaching supplies and infant/toddler toys/gear to put to use. Since my service is just getting started, I am purchasing everything else I/your child may need as we go. I live in a large, clean, child friendly home with lots of inside outside space to play, learn, and grow!
I am accepting children on a full time or part time basis. I still have slots available for children from newborn – age 12. My hours of operation are Mon – Fri 6:30am – 6:30pm, but I may be able to start early or run late to meet your needs. My rates are reasonable and will try to work with your budget! There are discounts for families who will require care for more than one child, and a flat rate for full time so that you will not be charged more if you get caught in traffic, etc. ***I was only able to fill in daily rates for specific age groups on this site. I do have multi-child discounts as well as weekly rates for full timers. Please contact me for more specific details.*** |
