Our History
The Children's Corners was established in 1990 by a former preschool director and kindergarten teacher. Who has over 30 years experience with children from 6 weeks to 12 years old.
Since then, our program has grown to include an infant/toddler program and an extensive before and after school program.
Our Philosophy
The Children's Corner's offers children an opportunity to grow in all developmental areas through a well-designed, integrated program of activities. We believe that as caregivers, consideration must be given to the "whole" child and how we can best meet those needs on an individual basis. The program components consist of an integration of many approaches to the teaching of specific skills. We want to keep children interested, focused, and challenged.
Above all, we want children to have FUN!
Sally Ann has over 30 years experience with children.
She was the director and kindergarten teacher at Yorba Linda Preschool for over five years prior to starting her own family day care.
She does numbers, letters, science, days of the weeks and reading time daily.
Sally is CPR and First aid certified. Our home is child safe and exceeds the standards set by the state of California.
Sally has been a daycare Mom to numerous children whom started 20 plus years ago and they still return to visit.
Several are now married with children of their own. One is on his second tour in Afghanistan, serving as a Navy Medic at Camp Leatherneck.
As you can see, the children whom start at The Children's Corner become part of our family, and our family is an extension of your family.
We are located minutes from the 57 and 91 Freeway.
Close to Fullerton Junior College, and Cal State Fullerton.
