I only care for 2 children (age 2 and up) and have a rare opening. I have a genuine passion for caring for children - have been doing so for 17 years - plus I have raised 4 (college educated) children of my own. I am very patient, understanding and have a great ability to provide a supportive and loving environment for your child. I have a strong knowledge of stages of physical, emotional, cognitive, social and cultural development of children and activities and experiences appropriate for age groups and stages of development of children. I have tons of age appropriate toys! Since I only take children 2 and older we are able to focus on the skills that are needed for success in kindergarten. We also utilize the Twin Cities area as a classroom - Children's Museum, Minnesota Zoo, Walker Art Center, Choo Choo Bob's, Wild Rumpus Bookstore, Library programs, etc. We READ, READ, READ.
