With over 17 years of experience caring for children, Ashcraft Family Child Care provides a safe and loving Christian environment for your child. We are CPR and First Aid Certified and hold active clearances with the Department of Justice, FBI, and Child Abuse Index. Our home is kept neat and clean and clear from any hazards; ensuring the ultimate safety for your child.
While we are not a preschool, we offer plenty of arts, crafts, and activities that nurture the whole child and support the child's social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth and inspires a joy for learning! We creatively weave together art projects, music, storytelling, math games and science experiments in our daily activities. We have daily circle time that begins with prayer and then the children are given the opportunity to speak freely and share whatever they wish without restraint or judgment before we begin our story time. We incorporate the Christian Faith as much as possible into our daily story time and activities. We pride ourselves on assisting you with building a strong Christian foundation in your child because we believe that it is very important to begin this at a very early age. We believe that the first step is to incorporate the practice of prayer in their lives. We also believe that encouraging an attitude of gratuity, humbleness, and love is extremely important.
We provide all meals and snacks and provide age appropriate toys and activities for your child. Weather permitting, most of our outdoor play is spent at our neighborhood Sports Park. The television is not the babysitter here! And although some television is permitted, it is extensively monitored, controlled, and limited.
