Hello, my name is Carrie Schlaud. I am a state licensed provider and long time resident in the North Branch area. My husband Jerry and I have been married for twenty years and together we have 4 children, ages 11 thru 18 years old.
As a mother myself, I understand the how crucial it is to find quality child care that both parents and their children can feel secure with. While nobody can replace "Mom & Dad"; I am committed to making your child care decisions easier by providing a learning environment that is both safe and loving, while remaining within the security of a home setting.
My background is in Business, specifically within the automotive market. Before starting our family; I worked in Production Control and Production Scheduling for Tier I automotive suppliers.
In October of 2009, I received my national credential as a Child Development Associate through the Council for Professional Recognition. I am degreed in Business Management and recently completed my Early Childhood Education degree. CPR certification is kept current yearly (infant, child and adult) and first aid re-certification takes place every two years. As required by state licensing, I complete a minimum 10 training hours yearly, within the field of child development and education.
I run a play based pre-school learning program. It is my hope that children will leave my care kindergarten ready ...academically and socially. Without a doubt, they will leave here knowing they were well loved!
I'm located just two miles from North Branch Community Schools. Busing is available to and from school; with prior approval from the North Branch Transportation Department. I offer care for children infant thru 12 yrs of age and am a participant of the Association for Child Development Food Program.
