I have been a licensed family child care provider for over 20 years and have 6 years preschool teaching experience. I have my AA in Early Childhood Studies and have a Master Teacher Permit. I am CPR/First Aid certified. I participate in a child food program and provide a healthy breakfast, lunch, and snack each day. I assist parents with potty training when their child shows signs of readiness.
I provide a safe, nurturing, home-like environment where infants and toddlers can thrive and grow. For children ages 2 through 5, I provide developmentally appropriate preschool learning activities including, circle time, art, music, story time, number, color, and letter recognition. Children have plenty of time to play both indoors and outside, developing their social skills and learning about the world around them. We celebrate most holidays with fun-filled activities. Each year, the children have a Christmas performance that delights their parents! Children in my care leave for Kindergarten socially and cognitively ready to excel!
My childcare is a peanut-free zone; I have experience with children with peanut allergies, asthma, food, and environmental allergies. I work closely with parents, assisting in allergy management.
I encourage communication, honesty, and trust, offering parents’ peace of mind that their child is loved and happy while they are at work. I am pleased to provide a joyful, fun-filled early childhood experience for the children in my care. |
