I have been a licensed child care provider since 1986 for both large and small homes. I am currently licensed for a small family home. I have had experience with allergies and asthma. I have maintained my CPR/1st Aid certification through the years. At the appropriate time I work with parents to potty train. Hot, healthy meals are served. Times are flexible with a typical days schedule being freeplay, breakfast, preschool program, snack, outside play, lunch, nap, snack, inside freeplay. Discipline can be intervention, loss of privileges, or time out(1 minute for each year of age), always with a one on one talk with the child on appropriate behavior. I encourage children to be responsible and respectful. The children in my care enjoy games, crafts, a preschool program, and playtime inside and outside. I try to make my child care feel like a home away from home.
