I am a licensed occupational therapist looking to care for 2 young children in my home daily. I am a newer mom to a beautiful 3 month old girl. I am in the process of receiving my certification/registration a home based daycare center.
I have 14 years of experience as an occupational therapist, with 6 of those years working with children from age 2 until 18. The children I have worked with have had multiple disabilities, such as slight developmental delays, attention deficit, autism, brachial plexus injuries, osteogenesis of the bones (brittle bone syndrome). I have also worked in a head start program with children from 3 to 5 for impoverished areas.
I have experience with physical and cognitive child development, as well as speech and feeding training. I have extensive training in developing play programs for children to encourage them to develop their skills.
I am warm, caring and am extremely flexible. I take direction well and will fulfill any wishes that you have in training and developing your child in addition to nurturing them. I will give your children special attention as I will not be caring for more than 2 children. I do have security cameras with Wifi that are set up in my home where you would be able to check in on your baby/child during the day via phone or ipad. I adore children and would be ecstatic to care for your child!
