I provide Licensed Home Day care and have done so for almost 20 years. I care for newborns through age 12. I am CPR and First Aid Certified.
I believe the early years are the most important for a good start in life. In order to help your child, I work to create an atmosphere of warmth and acceptance. I also believe that children have a right to a safe and healthy environment and should be given the opportunities for developmental activities according to their age, talents and interests. I do many group activities that include all ages even infants, such as reading, music, blocks and physical movement. Many of these activities promote fine and gross motor skills.
I do have preschool for ages 2-5. This includes movement, circle time, weekly themes, snacks, enhancement activities such as art, cooking, science, math and more, along with outdoor play weather permitting.
I attend 12+ hours per year of day care seminars and trainings. Some of the topics include infant care (crib death), outdoor play activities, arts and S.T.E.M. |
