Welcome to Little Explorers Academy!
Little Explorers Academy Child Care is a licensed daycare providing a clean, nurturing and safe learning environment for your little Explorers. We offer an exciting indoor playroom with plenty of age appropriate toys, pretend play, arts and crafts, puppet shows, musical instruments etc. We also have a separate quiet room for reading stories and naptime. Additionally, we have a large backyard filled with a sandbox, water toys, yoga area, play structure, tea party picnic area and much, much more. We are located in Folsom’s prestigious Broadstone neighborhood near Palladio shopping center, minutes away from Hwy 50, and near an abundance of schools and parks such as Handy Family Park, Russell Ranch Elementary, Empire Oaks Elementary, Gold Ridge Elementary etc.
Children two years of age and older will have the added bonus of our preschool program. We use Reggio Emilia/Waldorf curriculum which includes weekly themes, letter/number/shape recognition skills, motor/cognitive skills, science and language arts projects, and of course lots of fun artwork. Parents have daily access to our lesson plan which outlines all the day’s activities, as well as a monthly newsletter that highlights all of the activities worked on throughout the course of the month. We provide organic snacks and beverages.
Additionally, we provide pick up/drop off services from local Folsom schools to ensure work/life balance for you. We are flexible and we will work with your schedule and individual needs.
