Olive Branch School Montessori, Arbor Lodge Neighborhood, North Portland, Oregon is a fully state licensed and certified preschool environment employing individuals with specialized education in the field of early childhood development and education.
We love our work with children and view every day as an opportunity to see the best that humanity has to offer. We are delighted when we glimpse the compassion of a child rubbing another’s back during story-time or asking another if she needs a hug, and we are joyed at the independence of a three year old setting up a tea party and inviting his friends. Each day is something new and amazing at Olive Branch School, a Montessori Primary School environment serving children ages 2.5-6 years old and their families.
Our school offers a range of experiences that encourage resourcefulness (critical thinking), support the building of self-control, discipline and decision making skills (cognitive and executive functioning) and nurture the emotional and spiritual growth of each child through positive social interactions. Children attending Olive Branch School are a part of a supportive, shared community experience 5 days a week. Our class size is small and responsive with a 7:1 ratio, 14 child maximum and led by a fully trained AMI Guide with a Masters Degree in Education. A Montessori education truly gives a child the keys to the world and sets them on the road to loving learning.

We offer daily gardening, yoga (our lead is a certified children's yoga instructor, youth fitness specialist, & more), outdoor experiences, baking, Music Together curriculum, fine art skills, crafting, art/music appreciation, a sensory play gym on premises, and are located between two beautiful parks. |

Must attend 5 days a week, we do NOT offer daily rates. Rates are by the month half day (8:30-12:30), Full Day (8:30-3:30) and Extended Care (3:30-5:30) visit our website for clarification olivebranchschool.com. Child must be in pull-ups or self-toileting, must be at least 30 months old (2.5 years). |
