It is our goal here at True Friends Early Learning Center to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for each and every child. We encourage children to be social, independent young people. We help build their confidence and self-esteem as they develop and grow. We are positive in the fact that children learn at their own pace, and its our daily focus to help guide them. We are PROUD to say that all of our TFELC teacher's are educated adults with years of personal experience in early childhood education. Lastly, we all believe children are a GIFT not to be taken for granted!

Philosophy
All TFELC teachers encourage and appreciate every child and his/her own special personality, unique talents, and the strength and ability to learn at their own pace. Learning happens everywhere and all the time for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. Your child’s experiences in these early years lay the foundation for his/her learning in later years. Studies show that babies are born ready to learn, and their brains develop through use, your child needs a stimulating environment with multiple activities giving them plenty of ways to play and learn. Providing a child with lots of chances to practice what he/she is learning also helps them as they grow and prepare for the continuous academic increases in WA State schools. Kindergarten age children requirements are at an all-time high, by starting the education process for children at a very early age, will help them get the jump start needed through academic fun, hands on learning, and building up their social and emotional developmental skills. When its time to transition into kindergarten your child(ren) will have the strength and positive self-esteem to deal with school age positive and negative challenges.
Daily communication with parents is the best way to work together and provides the best learning environment, which is one of the reasons we encourage all parents to actively participate in activities throughout the year with their child in our classroom and at home.
Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
