I provide a loving and stable environment for children in my care. I specialize in infant toddler care, but do provide for school age children as well.
For ages 0-4, my main concern is play! We learn to interact with each other, and learn of our own strengths and differences. For the 4-5 year olds, we have a 2-hour morning preschool program.
We love to get out. We enjoy the Denver Zoo, the Children's Museum and love spending time at the beach at Bear Creek Lake. I think it is important to teach the children manners at home as well as in public. So, the more field trips, the better!
The structure of my home is based on dynamic. I purposefully spread the ages of my children to provide an older child, middle child and a younger child. As time progresses, a child will be able to experience each situation, from the “baby” who is constantly looked after, a middle child who is able to sit back, learn and be taught by the older children and finally advance to the oldest who begins to help, nurture and teach the younger children allowing the children to be independent, caring, loving and most of all, confident in themselves.
