The program is located in the lovely Klahanie neighborhood on the Issaquah/Sammamish Plateau. A preschool program is offered for children 2-5 years old as well as a program for Kindergartners and school-age children. Drop-in care is also available for established families. Rates are based on the number hours child care is needed, rather than a full-day and half-day rate.
The provider has had 19 years of experience caring for and educating children. She has a BA degree in Education/Early Childhood Ed. and is also certified in CPR and first aid. She cares for a small group of only 4-5 children, ensuring individual attention is given to each child. Positive guidance and loving care is provided. Parents describe her as reliable, energetic, loving, creative, patient and caring. She enjoys caring for children and supporting families.
The learning program is age appropriate and instills common values and respect for self and others. Educational and fun activities and experiences are provided and children have many opportunities to socialize and build friendships as well. A safe, comfortable and spacious indoor and outdoor environment is provided. Field trips to local parks, libraries and other exciting places are a regular part of the program. Nutritious meals and snacks are provided.
