Precious People Childcare is the best thing that could have happened to us! They give loving, individualized attention to each child and work with the parents to ensure the child is happy and thriving. We couldn’t be happier with the love and care they give to our daughter, Kendra, who has been going there for over a year. She absolutely enjoys going to daycare, seeing her friends, and learning more than she would have if I had kept her at home and tried to do it myself. Even though Kendra is barely two years old, she shares some of her experiences at day care: she teaches us songs that she’s learned there; she shows us new sign language; tells us what yummy food she got to eat there; and of course she can’t wait to show us and tell us all about her “artwork” – whatever craft she helped make that day. I’m glad that it is a preschool too. Now Kendra won’t have to leave her friends to go to a separate preschool and she can stay in that wonderful environment until she is ready for kindergarten.

Precious People offer not only a safe and clean environment but one that is loving and caring. Both of my children (ages 14 months, 3 years) enjoy being with Patti and her daughter Kristi and often express a desire to see them on weekends. They maintain a disciplined environment but one that is fun and flexible around the needs of the individual children. Patti’s preschool education program is also a plus. My oldest daughter knows all her shapes and colors and can count to 30. She has even begun putting letters together to spell her name and can do very basic addition and subtraction. I feel very lucky to have found Precious People and never worry about my daughters’
physical or emotional well-being while I am at work. The only other thing I could possibly wish for are similarly aged girls for my 3 year-old to play with.

My son, Noah, who is two years old, has been going to Precious People Childcare for almost a year now. He was previously enrolled in a daycare where there were 20 other kids in his class. I noticed a huge improvement in Noah after just one month of being enrolled at Precious People. He started speaking more, opening up to other kids and adults more, and surprising me on a daily basis with something new that he learned. Ms. Patti and Ms. Kristi provide a clean and safe environment for Noah to go to. They are so loving to him and I feel they truly care for him. I know Noah is getting a lot more one on one attention at Precious People. Within a couple months he knew all his colors, shapes, and can almost count to twenty. He can recognize a number of animals and the sounds they make. Ms. Patti and Ms. Kristi are always giving me advice on how I can help him at home learning and understanding new skills. I would definitely recommend Precious People Childcare if you are looking for a fun, safe, clean, and loving environment for your child.

We have been extremely happy with Precious People Daycare. Patti and Kristi are very observant, supportive and closely connected to each child and their differing needs. They discipline in a very positive and fair manner and provide useful guidelines and ideas that can be used at home. The environment is clean, safe and set up with activities/toys to stimulate the children at each development stage. They have taught/exposed our son to fun songs, the basics - counting, colors, shapes, animals, new vocabulary, but most helpful/important has been emotions and how to express his feelings. Our 2 year old enjoys the creative crafts he/they complete each week and says his favorite thing at “Mrs. Patti’s house” is his friends and doing “artwork”. We also enjoy the personalized, creative calendar noting the planned activities/educational areas that we receive on a monthly basis.
