Little Lights Childcare Center’s mission is to provide a safe, warm, caring Christian environment where love and concern for your child is of the utmost importance. We will provide a nurturing atmosphere where children will be encouraged to express themselves, and where they can develop a positive self-image. We wish to promote a life-long love of learning by encouraging curiosity, problem solving, cooperation, and responsibility.
We believe that being a child should be a fun and exciting adventure, and are committed to meeting all the needs of the child--physical, social, emotional, and spiritual. Parents and teachers together can help your child develop his or her full potential. Parents are always welcome at our program. Please schedule a conference if you have questions, issues, or concerns. The teachers are happy to talk with you, but our first concern is giving our attention to the children in our care. Admission conditions |

General Admissions:
Admission to this Center will be based on licensed capacity and staffing requirements as determined in the New York State Department of Child and Family Services regulations.
Infant Admissions:
To enter the Infant room, the child must be at least 6 weeks old and have had their first round of immunizations.**We have a strict Health Policy
Toddler Admission:
To enter the Toddler room, the child must be at least 18 months, bottle broke, on table food, able to nap without a crib, and ready to begin potty training and pacifier weaning.
Preschool Admissions:
To enter Little Lights Childcare Center’s pre-school program, the child must be at least three years of age, potty-trained*, bottle broke, and pacifier weaned (pacifiers may be used at naptime). All students entering pre-school will be evaluated on the “Developmental Readiness Profile” to ascertain their readiness for the preschool program. *Potty Trained means the child only has occasional accidents.
Preschool will be offered on a first-come basis. Although the child may be enrolled in a full day program for childcare, preschool teaching will occur in small, manageable increments with the academic focus occurring from 9:00am to 11:00am Monday thru Friday. Sample schedules may be requested or a morning visit may be arranged upon request. Un-enrolled children must be accompanied by the parent/guardian enrolling the child. |
