I obtained services from this family / home daycare and I find that:

"It was a few weeks at Wendy's before my son was not wanting me to go to work. He also asked many times not to take him there anymore. This week the problem came to a head. My son was crying and did not want to go to daycare. The only reason my 4 year would tell me was a child there was hitting him. I confronted Wendy that day and she replied with," You should not lie to your dad!" and continued to scold him. I was upset for the rest of the day at work. Usually greeted with "Daddy! I am so happy to see u" I returned to pick him up and I was greeted with," Do you have something to tell your dad?" and my son said he lied, and was also prompted to tell me he had a good day at daycare. I know my son was coached bec I have never seen him act that way and I could see fear in his eyes. All I wanted to do is get out of there. I discussed this with my son and I do believe he lied about the child hitting him, but did lie for another underlying reason. He was much more scared to back after that day, I told him I would not force him to return. My son has been in at least 4 other home daycare enviornments and has never had any problems. After observing her reactions to my concerns and the reaction I got from my son, He will never go back to Wendy's. In the future I will be more careful where I place my boy."
