I obtained services from this daycare center / preschool and I find that:

"I had my son here since October 2008 until we moved from the VA area. This school was the best, there were rocking starts at the beginning but then turned out to be great. All the teachers really loved and cared about my son and his well being. Kevin is great and Ms Lisa is wonderful. Since leaving, my son has a second grade reading level and will be skipping kindergarten to head to the first grade. I wish we could of stayed in VA, but I highly recommend them to any and everyone.Please keep up the good work we miss you all. Thank you ms Lisa, mr Kevin, ms Shay, ms carla, ms Liz."

I obtained services from this daycare center / preschool and I find that:

"I recently had my son at this childcare. Staff was great. But, my only complaint was the days off. They had 14 days closed including major holidays and not counting weather issues, so the facility could be closed more than 14days out of the year. Holidays you would not expect an daycare to close they were. Not a very reliable daycare, if you have a job that gives you a certain amount of days off per the year. They also had some half days that just complicated things at a job. Great people, but too many days they are closed for a daycare. You would need a daycare for this daycare."

"I enrolled my daughter and the experience was nothing short of outstanding. Kevin and the rest of the staff are true professionals who truly care about the well being and development of young minds. Pricing is extremely fair, would recommend this daycare to anyone who wants a daycare that goes the extra mile."

"I am very happy with the rates and quality of care. I removed my daughter from a in-home provider because I felt she needed a school setting so that she could be prepared for school. I decided to go with Growing Essentials. I will recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a safe, affordable daycare."
