I obtained services from this daycare center / preschool and I find that:

"I had resigned myself to enrolling my son in one of the nearby preschools (I wasn't "wow'd" by any of them)...and then I found Riviera PlaySchool! The teachers are so loving. I love how the children are encouraged to explore and communicate their feelings. Its been a wonderful experience for my son and we have really enjoyed watching him blossom."

I obtained services from this daycare center / preschool and I find that:

"My daughter Zoë attends the most wonderful little school, Riviera PlaySchool in Redondo Beach. It is founded & run by a visionary woman, Linda Shannon, who has culled together a curriculum by many different educational philosophies & methodologies, including attachment parenting, Reggio Emilia, Montessori, Waldorf, Krishnamurti, and the Center for Nonviolent Education & Parenting. Just being a parent in this community has challenged my preconceptions about raising a child, & it has really inspired me to employ new strategies. The school & its staff have been a source of support for which I’m so grateful! RPS is such an unique community, & I wanted to get involved somehow–so I offered to do school portraits for all the students. . It was incredibly fun, & allowed me to get to know each of the kids in that special through-the-lens kind of way. And, of course, I was hoping to do something beyond the usual school picture–something spontaneous that would capture each child’s spirit–just like I try to in all my portraiture."
