+4 Childcare provider: Lisa

I obtained services from this family / home daycare and I find that:

"Lisa and the rest of the staff are wonderful. Very caring and attentive to my sons needs. Lisa has taken child care to another level major one on one with each child, along with she makes sure to make every day a new fun day. Do to children can get board. ( Like a few months ago Teachable moments had the San Jose PD and EMT) show up to demo their vehicles with the kids. AMAZING how they all light up full of excitement. I would HIGHLY recommend my friends and family any day. Thanks so much for a wonderful experience.."

I obtained services from this family / home daycare and I find that:

"I have had the opportunity to visit many child care centers because of my career. Teachable Moments Family Child Care is by far one of the best centers I have ever seen. I’m amazingly impressed with what Teachable Moments has done to create a warm, inviting, interesting and safe environment for the children. Lisa (owner) has developed a curriculum for all the children in her care. As infants, the kids are exposed to music, movement, art, story time, as well as time to explore their world and learn what they are capable of. The toddlers have their own program that centers on project-based learning. There are themed activities that include math, science, language arts, music, and art. Now that Lisa has started the “Preschool” program (because all of the kids are growing older and they are still in her care) she is making certain that the 3 year olds are exposed to all the experiences they’d find in any preschool, and then some. Beyond the enrichment, the kids get a loving staff that is invested in them and their families. Lisa and her staff are the only people I had watch my son for the first two years of his life. I trust her beyond measure and admire the service that she provides for the community and the families that have enrolled their children in her care."

I obtained services from this family / home daycare and I find that:

"I have found a gem with Lisa! She really goes the extra mile for my family... and I appreciate the loving, healthy and fun atmosphere my kids are in. I feel that both of them are thriving (currently a 1 & 2 year old). In addition, Lisa is clean, organized, professional... It's really the best of both worlds (personal care and attention from a home based daycare + professionalism and curriculum you'd expect from a center, but with more flexibility)."
