I respect and appreciate the trust you have placed in me to care for your child. As a parent, you are the most important person in your child’s world and I will make every effort to support you and your family. I will offer the very best care that I can for your child. You can expect me to love and nurture your child. You can help me by keeping me informed regarding any health issues and concerns, favorite foods, fears, or special interests. I will also share information about your child’s growth and activities during the time spent in my home.
I believe that self-esteem is a critical component to optimal growth in young children. I focus on developing the socialization and self-help skills needed to have a positive self-image. The children are given the opportunity to explore, experiment and create in a safe and nurturing environment. I offer a non-smoking home.
Children learn a great deal from our daily play activities. We play with clay, finger paint, draw, and sing. We also do arts and crafts, read books, build with blocks, play outdoors and occasionally have fieldtrips. As some of these activities may be messy, I encourage you to dress your children every day in comfortable and washable play clothes. Nap-time is offered twice a day for infants and toddlers. Older children will be offered quite-time or nap-time for a minimum of one hour in the afternoon. An additional nap-time will be given if needed by the children.
If you visited or if you're using a childcare provider found on DaycareBear, do not hesitate to leave a review. This will most certainly help other parents!
