SPRECKELS SPROUTS DAYCARE is a warm, loving, home away from home environment for your little one. This is a licensed family home daycare, located in the historic town of Spreckels, California. (Spreckels is located off highway 68, just south of Salinas, and about two miles from Las Palmas in Monterey County).
Age appropriate activities, educational toys, and out door play are provided as part of the play-and-learn setting that children love and thrive in!
I have been mothering my own children for over sixteen years, and have experience working with children as a Volunteer Teachers Aid, Firefighter/Fire Prevention Educator, and have been a Licensed Daycare Provider since 2006. All state licensing inspections are impeccably perfect. I also have very extensive medical training which includes a current National Registry EMT-B as well as a BLS/Healthcare Provider CPR Certificate.
I pride myself in running a high quality daycare! The children are happy, and genuinely have a great experience here. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy with plenty of toys and activities to stimulate physical and mental development.
All the little ones are well supervised and welcome to play throughout my neat and cheerful home. The outdoor play area is perfect for riding trikes, grassy pic-nicks, or water table activities when the weather is warm. I inspire sharing and cooperation with others, and give lots of attention and praise with plenty of hugs and high-fives! I use play and music to teach color names, recognition of shapes, counting, and the letters of the alphabet.
Hours of Operation:
Monday through Friday, from 6:00am to 4:30pm. Closure is at 4:30pm sharp and we cannot extend our hours.
