At Rhonda's Romper Room Family Child Care, the focus is on learning, love, and fun! We have preschool activities each morning (letter and number of the week, color and shape of the month, arts and crafts, science, music, small and gross motor exercises and skills practice,...), time for free play indoors and outdoors, breakfast, lunch, and p.m. snacks are served daily. There is very limited television viewing and we provide a non smoking household.
I have been interacting with children in different environments since 1989 (student teaching, volunteer in child care center, teacher in child care center, nanny, and home daycare provider). I have been operating my home daycare since June 2000. I have my bachelor's degree in elementary education from CCSU. I have been a member of our local daycare association (Northwest CARE) since 2001. I attend classes and seminars to enrich my knowledge of childcare and children.
I offer monthly "parent's Night Out" opprtunities for an additional fee, as well as extended hours at additional fees. |

Must have a 2 weeks deposit that is used for final 2 weeks of care. Paperwork must be completed and approved by me prior to start of care. |
