I have worked very diligently to make the program at Sprout exactly what I have wanted for my own child! I truly believe that it is the highest quality care and education that I can provide.
Healthy meals and snacks - Most organic, no transfats, whole wheat/grain. Fresh fruits and veggies served everyday. We are also on the usda food program.
Preschool curriculum and activities - We use an award winning preschool curriculum, that can be adapted from 18 mos to 5 years.
Daily, weekly, and monthly communication - Daily Memos are sent home and weekly preschool notes on what we are learning. A monthly 'Sprouting' is also sent home with great information on upcoming events, themes, field trips, etc.
Fun outside play area - We have a great ourdoor area for the kids to play, and most days we do outdoor activities and art projects!
Learning field trips - We love to go on field trips, to the zoo, aquarium, parks, children’s museums, farmers markets... and so much more!
Small class size for great individual attention - I only care for six children, which includes my 2 year old son. I do not care for more than two children under 2 at any time. This gives me more time to devote individual time to everyone.
Little or No TV - I say little because once a week, we may watch an education video like Baby Signing Time, with me of course interacting the with the little ones while we watch together. We have so much time to spend learning that the TV is normally not on at all during school hours.
I also offer weekend care for those that do not work just M-F. |
