Discovery Daycare is open from 6am-5:15pm, state licensed for children from birth to 12 years of age. I am located near Giaser Park and located on half an acre. I offer a preschool program, with circle time, story time, arts/crafts, and indoor and outdoor play time. Parents are always welcome to drop in and visit.
This facility is non-smoking and has a Sanuvox air purifier on the heating and air conditioner systems.
I have my Child Development Associate and am a participant in the Paths to Quality Program. I have 8 more classes to obtain my Early Childhood Education Associates. I have been a member of IAEYC, served on the board of Indiana Childcare Association, and a life time member of RedLeaf Insitute.
I have taught at Head Start and was a developmental therapist for First Steps working with children who had developmental delays or were at risk of being delayed due to various factors.
