When you walk into the First Class Early Learning Center and Family Daycare, you will find a large, colorful and inviting room divided into carefully planned interest areas. It is filled with a variety of learning materials for your child to explore, manipulate, play with and share. Our center is specifically designed to encourage your child’s natural curiosity and innate desire to learn about their world. The infant/toddler area is separated, yet very much a part of the preschool classroom. As a parent of infant and/or toddler, you will feel a sense of security and self-assurance just knowing that your child will be learning and growing in such a warm, nurturing and inclusive environment. We like to incorporate a sense of family and togetherness by encouraging the older children to positively influence the younger children. This philosophy fuels the preschooler’s sense of self worth and responsibility, while creating a nurturing and trusting atmosphere for the infants and toddlers.
First Class Early Learning Center uses a diverse learning program of integrated curriculums to implement lesson plans, daily activities and monthly assessments for infants, toddlers and preschoolers attending our program. Our early childhood environment is based on the principles of Developmentally Appropriate Practice. These principles focus on how children develop and learn, how the classroom should be arranged, and what materials should be provided for learning. They also focus on how the teacher should interact with and observe the children to enhance their daily experience. First Class ELC provides an exciting academic platform for thriving cognitive development and kindergarten readiness.
