I believe that the family childcare is a very important extension of you and your child's family. As your child becomes involved in the daily routines, they will see the connections between home and family childcare in a friendly and supporting way. A flexible daily program will respond to the needs and interests of the child(ren); individually and in group settings.
By encouraging children to learn and develop at their own level, they will gain the confidence of self-importance, self-worth, and self-respect. By giving them guidance and understanding, they will have the opportunity to explore and learn in a safe and controlled environment.
My daycare environments are filled with interesting centers that help children develop and grow in the five (5) main areas of development: Social, Emotional, Cognitive, Creative, Fine Motor and Gross Motor skills. I promote self-esteem children by providing developmentally appropriate activities and creative play by allowing the children to initiate some activities by themselves.
I am the first and only accredited family home daycare in Lafayette and Tippecanoe County. I met the requirements set fourth by the National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC) for full accreditation by demonstrating good quality in the following areas.

INFANTS
Each infant will be on an individual schedule, depending on the infant’s needs and the parent’s desires. They will be provide with an environment that stimulates small and large muscle coordination, the senses, creative expression, and socialization. Infants will be held during bottle feedings, bottles will not be propped. When a child reaches the age of about 18 months or sooner if they show interest, I will include them in preschool activities.
TODDLERS
Toddlers will be encouraged to participate in the preschool program. Other activities will be added that is age appropriate. There maybe some activities that are above their capabilities and they will be offered a substitute activity in its place. Many of the activities will work for all ages; they will get different things out of it depending on their age.
I offer a preschool program. My curriculum is developed so that each child is developing at his or her own pace. Enrollment is limited, so that each child is given the individual attention they deserve.
AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM
I offer an after-school program. Your child will be involved in various after-school activities, along with assistance with homework and school related assistance. A more detailed plan will be access at time of enrolled. |

125.00 a week school age summer care
Earlier drop-off times and later pick-up times are available (depending on availablity of hours and provider's afterhours schedule). There will be a small fee for early drop-offs & late pick-up times. |
