I obtained services from this family / home daycare and I find that:

"Kelley has been an excellent child care provider for our daughter for the past 2 years. From when our daughter was an infant, Kelley provided a safe, warm and nurturing atmosphere. It was so comforting to know that our daughter was in a fun and educational home environment for these years, rather than being overwhelmed in a school setting with many other kids. Kelley helped create structure in our daughter’s day, with a consistent nap and eating schedule, along with outside play time almost every day (dependent on weather). The small group of children at Kelley’s house helped our daughter learn socializing skills, discipline, sharing, etc. Our daughter also established friendships that are still continuing to this day. Kelley truly cares about the children she watches, and she is such a helpful extension of each child’s parents. Kelley wants the children to thrive and helps teach them so much. She played a major role in teaching our daughter manners, proper eating habits and use of utensils, appropriate behavior, among many other things. We loved receiving the arts and crafts projects our daughter made, and hearing the new songs and stories Kelley would teach them. Kelley also provided useful health advice/information, in addition to providing nutritious snacks and meals for the children every day. She was also instrumental in helping to prepare our daughter for her next step in a school setting. We were extremely happy with Kelley and would recommend her daycare service to anyone!"

I obtained services from this family / home daycare and I find that:

"Kelley is an excellent child care provider! We sent our daughter to Kelley for 2.5 years and she really thrived in her time there. Kelley is nurturing, patient and provides a safe and fun environment for kids. She teaches the kids manners, encourages them to socialize, and establishes healthy eating habits right from the beginning. Once my daughter was a little older, she would come home singing new songs and telling us little tidbits about her day at Kelley's house. Not only is Kelley wonderful for the children, but she is great for the parents too. She helped us get our daughter on a wonderful napping/eating schedule right from the beginning. She was instrumental in guiding us through transitions as our daughter got older too - switching to solid foods, weaning off the bottle, transitioning from crib to bed, etc. Her experience and advice were invaluable to us as first time parents. I would highly recommend Kelley to anyone looking for childcare in the area. She is great!"

I obtained services from this family / home daycare and I find that:

"When choosing a daycare for our daughter, the most important thing to us was that we could find someone that we could trust and someone that would love her and care for her during her time away from home. Seems like a simple thing, but these qualities can be hard to come by. Yet we were fortunate enough to have found Kelley.

We found Kelley’s Kids through a neighborhood friend who recommended her to us. What appealed to us, even before meeting her, was that she cares for the children in her own home. It was very important to our family that our daughter felt the comforts of being in a home environment, as opposed to a daycare center environment.

Kelley starting caring for our daughter from the time she was about four months old until the age of two. Kelley met and exceeded our expectations in every way. Besides all the obvious things, like an immaculately clean home with playrooms full of toys and learning tools, we could trust her. We could trust her to care for our daughter and knew that she would follow through on what she said she would do with the children and for the children’s well-being and growth. We knew that our daughter’s days were filled with activities and fun: play time, circle time, craft time, reading time, outdoor time. She helped our daughter’s development and comfort level in so many ways through the means of such routine, structure, and discipline…learning how to share and listen, how to clean up after herself, how to eat properly, how to rest, and how to play. These are the three areas that were very clearly demonstrated to us by Kelley and the results have been tremendous, especially in regards to our daughter’s overall well-being. Our daughter is a fun and happy child much in part to Kelley’s loving care.

We highly recommend Kelley to anyone looking for someone to provide care for their child."

I obtained services from this family / home daycare and I find that:

"Kelley provides excellent child care in a loving, safe, and educational environment. While at work, I knew my children were safe and being well cared for in a nurturing and positive environment. I felt good that my children were spending their days in a lovely home (rather than an “institutional” day care with many children and a potentially changing staff) and playing in a backyard. Kelley is a professional in every sense, including how she maintains her home and property, how she cares for the children, and how she treats the parents. She helps get the children on a schedule and helps with milestones (i.e. switching from bottle to cup, potty training, etc.) in a positive manner. She is very experienced and knowledgeable about child development (i.e., mobility, speech, and emotional development), health (i.e., the cause and treatment for a rash or temperature), and nutrition (i.e., providing healthy foods). Kelley is very active with the children including reading, art projects, and teaching them about the world around them (i.e., how vegetable soup is made and then making the soup, looking at a local house being built and explaining the process, making arts and crafts projects for different letters as they study the alphabet, etc.). Kelley is a “co-parent.” She provides positive discipline and teaches manners (i.e., the correct way to use a fork or the appropriate way to ask for something). My siblings and I have had a total of 5 kids with Kelley and have known her for approximately 9 years. My two children have been very happy with her, and so have I and my husband. I highly recommend Kelley."
