I obtained services from this family / home daycare and I find that:

"My 8 month old went here for 2 months and we really liked them until about the last month. When I would pick him up they were very short with me and the owner would just walk away from me when I would ask how his day was. It took me emailing them asking what was wrong (since they wouldn't talk to me face-to-face) for them to tell me that my son was having a hard time. They thought that I ignored the fact that he could be difficult if, and I quote, "they weren't up in his face." ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? That's the language you use as a professional establishment?!? I was told this by the owner as well as her primary assisstant. I was floored! I don't think my son is perfect in anyway, he is an infant and requires one-on-one, that's how they learn. I think they expected him to be sat on the floor and take care of himself for the 4 hours he was there. They are nice people, but I wouldn't recommend them if you have a child that's not able to entertain themselves. Also, they post pics on FB and my son was never in any, and if he was, he was in the background by himself, which makes me wonder if they even paid attention to him. He's at a new daycare now and they have had zero problems with him... and they communicate with me. Funny how that works."
